Mindy Fine Fashion Ware has announced the opening of their new shop at My Mall Limassol. KNC was responsible to design and install the necessary lighting fitting in order to archive the proper lighting calculation for a retail project. Philips Dynalite Controls has been installed in order to archive energy management and savings solutions. Prolicht architectural lighting fittings has been used for the project.

More than 12 Switching Channels, 4 Dimmed Channels and 4 DALI Digital Ballast Channels has been used together with 1 Control Panel and 1 Time Clock to control the shop. In order to combine the best possible solution for a retail project, specialized lighting design calculations has taken place before the implementation of the project as seen on the renderings. The personnel has the option to go though various scenarios from the opening of the shop to the closing. All halogen lighting and fluorescent lighting are dimmable in order to archive different scenarios.

Lanitis Aristophanous is renovating and expanding their showroom at Limassol area. Once more KNC was responsible to design and install the appropriate lighting for a retail project. We have used Occhio and Prolicht architectural lighting as well as Philips Dynalite for the lighting control & energy management of the showroom.

Our reccomendation for the specific two level showroom was to used more than 48 Sign Round & Super Sign Round Trimless Fluorescenes fittings from Prolicht all with DALI digital ballast in order to be dimmable, more than 120 Matrix Small Trimless Halogen and 9 Matrix Big Trimless Metal Halide fittings from Prolicht as well as more than 37 Piu Alto LED Surface Spotlights all with DALI digital ballast from Occhio.

The idea was to have the ability to control the levels (from 0% to 100%) of each from the 85 fluorescent and LED fittings to be controlled individually using the DALI Digital Protocol. Philips Dynalite will be responsible to adjust the levels of the fittings using the 11 DUS804C Multipurpose Sensors by using the daylight harvesting and occupancy events. With this solution will not have energy waste for the showroom as well as will increase the lamp life of all fittings.

Lanitis Aristophanous Showroom will be ready by the end of January.

Nicosia Business Centre (NBC) is a new innovative building at the center of Egkomi in which different companies own their offices in one building. Philips Dynalite Controls has been installed in order to archive energy management and savings solutions.

More than 16 Relay Controllers and 128 Switching Channels has been used together with 51 Control Panels and 6 Sensors to control the whole building. Each company can individually control the lighting of their offices with easy one touch buttons. The reception of the building can turn on or off the lighting of each company depended on the occupancy of each office. Events which trigger in specific hours of the day, make sure that no lighting is on when it is not needed.
